Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead and manage all operational functions across the organization.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business goals and growth plans.
  • Establish scalable processes and systems to support business expansion.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on operational planning, forecasting, and decision-making.

Procurement & Supply Chain Management

  • Oversee procurement operations across international sourcing markets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and sourcing partners.
  • Monitor procurement performance, supplier reliability, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure timely procurement and inventory replenishment to support business requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sourcing efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Inventory, Logistics & Fulfillment Management

  • Oversee inventory planning, stock control, and warehouse operations.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and optimal stock availability.
  • Lead logistics and fulfillment operations to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
  • Monitor shipment performance and resolve operational bottlenecks proactively.
  • Implement best practices for inventory and logistics management.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing operational teams.
  • Establish KPIs, OKRs, and performance benchmarks across departments.
  • Conduct performance reviews and support employee development initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure operational teams are aligned with company goals and objectives.

Process Improvement & Business Excellence

  • Develop, review, and optimize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.
  • Drive workflow optimization and process automation initiatives.
  • Establish operational controls and quality standards across departments.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

Technology & Systems Development

  • Lead the implementation of technology-driven operational solutions.
  • Improve visibility through dashboards, reporting tools, and performance tracking systems.
  • Evaluate and implement systems that enhance operational productivity and scalability.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives across operational functions.

Reporting & Business Analysis

  • Monitor operational KPIs and business performance metrics.
  • Analyze operational data and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Prepare regular reports on operational performance, productivity, inventory, procurement, and logistics.
  • Recommend strategic initiatives to improve profitability and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, e-commerce, retail operations, or business management.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, logistics, fulfillment, and operational planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, reporting tools, and business analytics.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead multiple teams and manage complex operational functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Postgraduate Degree from a recognized institution.
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, import/export, supply chain, or technology-driven businesses.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale operational processes.
  • Knowledge of process automation, workflow optimization, and operational excellence frameworks.
  • Professional certifications in Operations, Supply Chain, Project Management, or Business Management are an advantage.
