About the role:

Customers are key to our success.  As a Customer Service Agent, you will be in constant contact with the customer. You will be involved in finding out about their problems, complaints and questions, as well as helping to boost e-commerce in Nepal by engaging with them on all aspects of their purchase from sellers.  For this challenging and engaging work, we’re looking for a motivated self-starter to join our team. 

Roles and responsibilities: 

1. Order Validation:

  • Validating customer orders that arrive on our website through phone calls.
  • Confirming product variant and customer location via phone calls.
  • Placing appropriate tags on our software to facilitate correct order placement.
  • Managing all incoming calls and effectively addressing customer inquiries.

2. Order processing:

  • Assisting customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, and assisting with returns.
  • Editing customer orders according to customer requests and location.
3. Order revalidation:
  • Contacting customers promptly to inform them that their order has arrived and is ready for pickup or delivery.
  • Verifying with customers their preferred timing and location for order dispatch, ensuring timely delivery or pickup arrangements.
4. Problem solving and issue resolution:
  • Acting as a first point of contact for customers facing issues.
  • Documenting customer issues for faster issue resolution.
  • Coordinating with other departments to solve customer problems.
  • Identifying priority issues and reporting it to the team manager.
A successful candidate will fulfill the following requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline 
  • Experience as an outbound call center / high pressure Customer Service role is preferred
  • Very comfortable with using computer software - we use MS Excel and Google Documents a lot, as well as customized Customer Service software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with decent Nepali and English
  • Patience and awareness, with an ability to stay calm and professional in difficult situations
  • A strong drive to grow, learn, succeed, and complete all tasks assigned to them
